Default my R1

after being off the road since aug 2009 i've just put my R1 back on the road

when i bought it in 2005 she was a standard blue model, then went to this in 2007


before how it looks now!!



angel eye's

it's a very late 2002 carb'd model
bottom half of fairings are wrapped in 3m carbon





and the doctors signature to finish it off

Exactly my thought. It makes such a difference to the look of an older bike and can make it look a lot newer. I did the same to my old gixxer 750.

Nice bike mate, personally I prefer the camel colours, but each to their own. Oh, and don't bodge the exhaust, those stubby things just look so dam silly.

cheers for the comments guys, i've had loads of different cans on it over the years inc stubby ones, high levels etc and i simply don't like the way it rides with them. sooooo much smoother and responsive on the standard can.

the 5jj was by far the best handling of the r1 carb models! Camel look gets my vote but IT'S your bike your choice lol
