but thinking of selling the swift jacket and buying a wolf jacket

also have a shoei helmet, any one got an iridium visor?? they good as thinking of getting one!

Sidi boots the new ones and Buse leathers....Very good deal on the leathers from Visordown and boots were from Taz motorcycles in Peterborough....got a lil discount aswell......1 peice are shiters to use in the summer....

Ive currently using about £1500 worth of suomy gunwind helmet, spidi 1pc leathers, alpinestars gloves ,sidi vertbrae boots and knox back protector - all crashed in at least once (apart from helmet) and all still good for more

Ive had in the past spyke leathers (crashed in with no problems ) and shoei leathers. Ive smashed up an AGV helmet too and it worked well

I seem to fall off a lot

Whatever you buy make sure it matches your bike

I bought my lid (£400 Arai - Got mugged on the price for that though! ) before I did the DAS. Like 6 months before. But all schools will lend you one. Might be a bit crap though. But it'll save you couple hundred straight away Then the jacket (£200 was £300 from J&S Alpinestars Dyno BTW)was a few weeks before the DAS. Gloves were "hand me downs" from a mate(Hein Gericke ones). Dont bother with trousers. Just wear a pair of jeans. Get hold of some chelsea boots for about £20 from your local market and you'll be fine.

Dont just do it all in the week before your DAS, or you'll be fucked at the end of the month

its plain black, with zips to attacht to trousers, 2years old, no big scuffs,just small scuff were it rubs againts the tank, never touched tarmac, cost about £250, good bit of kit size is about 44/46. will try to get a pic next week.

only selling it as i want a wolf jacket to match me trousers, they never had any wolf jackets when i bought the trousers so bought the swift instead

ps dont go for bike co-ordinated leather, as next time you change yer bike you have to change your leathers aswell.

personally i fookin hate leathers when im on the bike , had them all new when i started about 8 year ago , and found them the most uncomfotable thing going , didnt want to go out on the bike (and yes they were teh right size-and i softened them all up) its just too heavy ,

since then i got a full gortex/ kevlar fitted gear - absolutly pukka - full water proof ( leather aint - and i aint no fair weather puff !) cost approx £500 for jacket and trousers !!

the only thing that still the original bit of kit is my daytona boots , my bro had some sidi verebra's - fookin shite - they fall to bits within 6 months , zips, seams , not water proof
