and while we're on the subject how do you get the wheels off a norev capri please? :?

Ive only got a mk1 in 1:18, would love a mk3 tho. Im seriously tempted by the one coming to diecast legends that I posted about the other week! x

I went into model zone in bluewater yesterday and one of their new arrivals is a blue wide arched capri in like a solid blue colour, think its a rs3100 or something, was £69, looked pretty good. They've made so many fords now its hard keeping up with it all. Wish they'd make escort cosworths in 1/18 scale again, i dont fancy paying near on £200 for a repsol rally one like u see them for on ebay for the ut models ones.

you may be in look mate,minichamps are spose to be bringing them out soon so i have herd.

ive got new wheels for my blue one BUT dont know how to get the old ones off :sad:

matt have you taken the wheels off a norev capri? if so how cheers

no sorry i havent only lowered them by cutting the springs down but i will have to find out at a later date we just need to get one of the guys who have fitted diffent rims already to tell us

i found out how to get the norev capri wheels off :DD:
they are screwed on from the inside, u have to take the base off then take the suspension apart ;-)

Sweet,has made my mind up to change the rims on mine,Colin did you glue the new rims on or drill the alloy bit then push on?.

there not fitted yet but you wld have to drill a big hole in the alloy if you wana fit them that way:

they do i did think that norev got the ride hieght messurements mixed up with ones from a maverick :blabla:

these models are awsome, where do you get all the bits for them, ebay or something?

i cant beleive they have steering and proper suspension, there absolutly wicked i want one soooo much now :sad:

e bay is one of the best sources
try searching 1/18 ford but you wull be there a while
another good search is 1 18 modified
