Insurance NCB

I had private car insurance transfered no claims and took out a traders policy 12 years worth now I am struggling to use these back on a private policy. Anyone overcome similar issues?

Yes same here mate. Also transferred my private no claims onto traders policy 7 years ago now but they did tell me at the time that it won't be transferable back to a private policy after.

when we were younger a few mates clubbed together and bought a shitbox escort

then we insured said shitbox escort

even though it sat in my front garden for a year with no tax or mot and eventually the scrap man came and took it away

but back in the day you didn't have all this hassle about paperwork and online checks and stuff so several of us could insure the same car seperatly

once we had our first year of ncb it was plain sailing form then on, even though none of us actually had a car during that time

Hi,
Please feel free to give us a try for insurance if you like. We have a number of insurance schemes that would accept motor trade NCD.
Regards,
Dan.

I got screwed out of my NCB I brought a L 200 pick up when I got a quote the insurance company said that it would be cheaper on a commercial policy, so I went for that no mention that you can turn private NCB into commercial but you can't turn commercial back into private something I found out a couple of years later when I sold the pick up to go back to a car no more NCB.
