I'm currently insured with Adrian Flux on my Sierra (modified policy)
Basically i want to insure a daily driver to preserve the Sierra as the current state of the roads are ruining the Sierra so this will be put away and only used on Sundays.
I have a Mk6 Escort van 1.8td which I've been doing up, all fixed ready for the road but insurance quotes are a joke. They are wanting £1096 as i didn't realise i couldn't use my no claims on a separate van insurance.

Could anyone recommend the best thing to do to get cheap van insurance?

Hi,
Generally were pretty competitive for van insurance at the moment so I'm quite surprised at the premium. If you wanted to PM me your details I'd be happy to take another look at it in case we have missed something.

some traders insurance policys are cheaper than that quote for your van and covers you in any vehicle registered to you too

Didn't know you couldn't use car no claims on a van policy, I used my NCB for my transit and when the insurers asked for proof I sent them it and they says all is good.

Bloody joke if you can't.

Don't even go there.
Was going to purchase a valeting business until i got insurance quotes on van insurance.
Nearly fell over when they told me the premium, you would of thought i was 20 again
