My mate paid nearly 2500 pounds for full cover a few years ago now in his m3 csl. That was for a 4 day trip. It's mega expensive. Another mate smashed his 3dr sierra cosworth up there last year and that cost him 1600 in damages to track and to get his car released was another 250 euros.

Hi,
Unfortunately we can't help with non UK track day insurance I'm afraid.
I haven't got any recommendations for you either.
Sorry,
Dan.

but the ring is still a public road so in essence this should be covered by your standard policy - typical insurance companies will try anything to get out of it.

I want to go this year, but fuck paying 2500 for insurance - cheaper to risk and take your credit card.

I'm going in April and will take the risk of not being insured - never took out insurance on any track previously however the ring is different, especially the tourist rides

I did read into a insurance once about covering Europe just for traveling and it kept coming up that the ring is NOT covered... As said its a toll road and not a track but yet its never covered.

Sure someone said ask need2insure for this.

Default the ring

they are charging for every second its closed if you are involved in a bump-as well as extortionate repair prices for the road furniture,so if anyone would cover you it would be super expensive now-more so than ever before

You can get insurance for track days at the ring but no one will touch you for TF days (general public)....

Weekends now are absolute chaos (last year on a sunday in August I only managed 2 laps in 11 hrs due to the amount of accidents and closures). This year I'm doing sunday -Thursday with evening sessions when its quieter (plus 2 evenings the F1 circuit is open)
