We recently did a piece on the Capri so thought we’d share it with you.

Let us know what you think!

Kind Regards,

Love the footnote 'Or you could buy a Ford Probe, the Capri’s unloved successor, for as little as £500…'

We had a black 2.0 '94 Probe for nearly ten years. Great car - cost us nothing except pads, battery and an exhaust...and a recon dizzie.

Also recall back in the day the wife had a black Mk1 1600XL and a 1.6L beige Mk11. Remember that one as the diff seized in the middle of London. AA somehow dragged it off the street. When I pulled the diff out of the axle casing it was dry as a bone.

Then we had kids and a run of Mk3 Escorts through the 80's and early 90's.
