Need help insuring my cossie
Its that time of the year again.
Was insured classic car with adrian flux for 400 but as ive moved back to london its doubled even in an underground car park and no classic underwriters will touch it?!?!
Then tried footman james who wouldnt touch it due to being 370bhp
Waiting for need2insure to ring back with a quote
Im 30 11 years no claims stage 4 t34 coilovers etc
Whos good out there whos not gonna pull my pants down?
Postcode is sw15
Thanks

Hi,
I'm surprised we couldn't help with classic insurance. Underground parking can normally be accommodated on some of our schemes. If you wanted to PM me your details I'd be happy to take another look at it for you.
Regards,
Dan.

Dan I went with Adrian Flux on you're recommendation but so far I'm seriously disappointed.
2 months in & they are still digging there heels over my agreed valuation.
First they want photos.... I did that, then 4 weeks later they want more photos... I did that, 3 weeks later they reply & say "thanks for the photos now we need receipts" so I'll be looking at 3 months in before I get my agreed valuation & im fuming.
They think you're silly, they are clearly trying to hang it out as long as possible.
The girl I spoke to on the phone said "they may want more".... So why not ask for all the info they want in the first place?
Taking the absolute p#%s now.

I'm sorry about the problems you have been experiencing trying to obtain your valuation. In most instances we can normally process the valuation with a basic 7 photographs and the completion of our agreed value condition report. Unfortunately in some instances depending on the type of vehicle / rarity / requested value etc our team may ask for additional items to enable them to substantiate the value. I agreed though that 3 months is an incredibly long time to wait.
If you'd like to PM me your details I'll look into this with the manager of our agreed value team to see if we can get it sorted immediately.
Regards,
Dan.
