Greenlight Insurance - why did I bother...

I had to cancel my insurance with Greenlight halfway through as I sold my RS Focus. I only cancelled as I was told they don't insure standard cars which is fair enough. I would have actually stayed with them if they would have still covered my vehicle. Shame as its lost them business. How many other people have been in the same boat? Plenty I would think but they'll never tell you that!
IT TOOK 50 DAYS to get my refund back..... 50 DAYS! That is absolutely shocking. I've never ever had to wait anywhere near that for refunds before.
When I did chase it up I was told they would contact me in a weeks times after they have sent an email to there account as he only works Wednesdays. Not surprised he only works Wednesdays! Probably rolling around in all our money making interest on it sitting in there account.

i wish that was the case mate lol . we are a performance car specialist thats all we cover so if you swith to something non performance its not fitting out schemes so we cant keep it on cover . as for your refund i can look in to it for you and see what took so long to refund it , sorry if you had a bad experience mate

sorry to hear about this but my experiance has been great with greenlight ive been with them for yrs and still with ....... i have found another insurance company who are just as good the company is called" need to insure " my freinds who own fully modded V8's escort cossies are insured with them i got a quote from them for me 3dr they were about 40£ cheaper than what i am paying but ive stayed with green light not worth me jumping ship over 40£(i think Rod has met the guys who own the V8's escossies )
