Who Insures your standard cars ?
Ok,,,,after years of owning "performance cars" I have just decided to buy a brand new car,,,, nothing flash just a family 5 door focus to have a respectable funeral car ect rather than borrow friends and also the deal got was cheeper than repairing my clio
Now,,,, the issue im having is I hate admiral insurance or the rest of the same group
I wish for a more personal insurance but I'm getting quotes more than my modified impreza
And I have 9 years no claims ffs
My clio 172 is 390 come renewal but a focus diesel standard is going to cost me 650 a year
Who do people use ?

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
I use GSI (Geoffrey Simmons Insurance). Uk based brokers, standard landline number to call, and a personal touch as I always speak to the same guy. I started with them when I had a few points etc but have stuck with them as they quote fairly cheap but will beat other quotes too. I think they mirror NCB iirc which can help.
Last year he played around a bit and added my partner on and off, then my mum etc and got me the cheapest price. They will also email cover notes, so if you buy a car and need to tax it to drive home you can.
I'm sure Google will bring them up but if you need the number just ask. And say you were recommended as that can get you a small reduction.

I was quoted around £370 from Ford Insure and Direct LIne for My 2012 Focus Titanium X when Adrian Flux was around £640
