ok folks ,
looking for a car shortly for meself , 29 just got my licence bk , med risk area idea was something ford and " classic " i.s orion ,base model mk 3-4 ,granada ect , any ideas on rough price to insure and whats a good option , beef :? |
cheapest to insure is a classic shape ka. they are really fucking cheap to insure!
you'll prob look daft in one though so find it in the right colour, i recon purple or bright pink  |
beef i know where there is a mk1 festa forsale (not a forsale thread)
possibly cheap to insure ?? on classic |
thanks for the offer taz , but ideally looking for something a little bigger lol

How much do you wanna spend?
Not for sale now but I like this http://mobile.pistonheads.com/sales/1951477.htm |
MK2 FIESTAAA!
they are cheaper than mk1s and the same, and just great fun! :L some nice little touches and everyone comes and talks to you in carparks and you can never get anywhere fast :L |
fiestas too small
budget around 5-700 id say , considered a cabby , but assumed they would be a higher insurance group ? |
mk5/6 escort van with a 2.0 zetec plopped in it. friend had one and it was a very nice tool.

You'd prob pick up a reasonable 1.6i Orion in your budget. Prob better value than a lot of people want for XR3i's and the like now, but it's the same car essentially, just a bit more practical.
Or if you don't mind something a bit newer, MK6 Escorts are plentiful, cheap to maintain, not bad to drive, and if you get a Ghia/Ghia X can have decent spec too. Or if it's pure hack about; MK1/2 Mondeo are hard to beat. |
why did you lose your licence , if its for a dr10 youll be fucked on owt insurance wise.my mate pays 2.5 k a year for a old p reg tranny tipper
