What would you get?

Well Have a Company car so will be insured April - Sept Probably.

Maybe a Track day or three - Santa Pod with a few Mates, etc

Not had a "Quick car before" In fact the quickest ive owned is my Clio Diesel

MK1 escort will probably push up a few Łk, Seen HPE pinto MK1 for Ł6.5 in back of classic ford mag so not sure what kind of money they go for

I'd get an early Scooby or Evo I think. Good allrounders or something without a roof. I love convertables. Great on weekends and sunny summer evenings! I will always own one.

Goodf look i have been looking for months and only found about 3 or 4 worth a look.

I am after around 40k miles, no fog lights, championship white, no scratches, no dings i mean show room condition and all of them have been around 8 or 9k

a hpe xflow powered mk1 just sold for Ł6.5k on ebay, for 5k u got get a nice pinto power mk1/2 or even a 4door loads of good 4 door shells about and ther alot cheaper so more ŁŁ to spend on other things

I'd get a zetec-s fiesta, and get some of Broms wishbones and rear beam and some coilovers. Most of my 'fun' driving is on country lanes in Shropshire and Wales so this suits perfectly. Horses for courses

Not Keen on the 4drs But Nice MK1 with any engine will suit See your on OSF, I check there now and again was looking at the white mex forsale a few months back And trying to work out how to get money together

4drs just dont look right to me.... but as you say there is hell of a price diff between 4drs and 3drs and lost of good 4dr shells out there.

You can get a fairly clean example for 5k and it will make you feel like a driving god round the lanes

Koni's, polly bushes, vrt box, LSD, roll cage, buckets, and harnesses.

about 170bhp and 650kg stripped.
