Judging by the same sort of damage in the same spots on the shell i would say its spadges old S2. I think theres alot more wrong with that shell than the accident, from spadges description of how it drives and how the accident happened sounds like the suspension mounts were all in the wrong place.

I repaired this in 1999. 3 months old and 4000 miles on the clock. Not recorded 3rd party accident! Drunk driver apparently - and an expensive mistake for someone..!

It's a Vectra in case you didn't know.
Needed just about every panel replaced including the roof apart from both rear quarters

Best get it on a jog to make sure all the suspension mounting points are where they should be then? I remember you saying it wasn't right.

i have repaired a lot of cars over the years- but when it come to selling them on i have always found it difficult as people have some strange ideas of what a 'right off' is

most of the cars i have done have been light or no damage, yet because it is classed as an insurance total loss people think that it might fall apart or something, yet the vectra and saxo above have both had some major work done but people would not question the car as it is not recorded

the bmw i have on the drive at the moment was stolen recovered- it had the trim, bumpers and wheels missing but had no body damage at all yet it is recorded as a total loss which i always declare when selling and the result is that i cant give the thing away

you can buy cars that have nothing missing and no damage- possibly stolen then found after the insurance has paid out yet it is still classed as a 'total loss' and worth less than the above vectra, i know which i would rather have

i reckon that saxo looks quite an easy repair and certainly looks worse than it was but the repair looks fine though
