a mate of mine HONESTLY just bought a staff puppy off a pikey bloke selling it as not the comon "chav" staff but a more desired long legged staff
now he thinks its true but to me it looks like a mongrel of a staff on stilts
whos right and whos wrong
i was trying to explain woth things like " you never seen lockstock" ect but he aint having it and thinks hes got a rare breed of dog

Irish Staff ??? I'm Irish & a Staff Breeder and never heard of them.
Over here long legs are marked down in the show ring. Might be different
in england. Lovely dogs though.

Some Staffys can have longer legs than others, as RichJ says, they aren't as sought after. They look a little bit weird when they arent "standard"
What bothers me more though, is that the puppy that's just been bought
a) Is probably stolen!
b) Has no paperwork.
And its the lack of certificates that means Id be concerned about future genetic problems.
A friend, had bought they're Staff from some Shit hole. They fell in love with the idea of rescuing her. Lovely dog, great temperment.
But when she got to 3 her spine developed a problem (air bubble IIRC), and she became paralysed from her middle down. So she couldn't walk. She used to just drag herself around by her front legs. And had a terrible time when she needed to go to the toilet. It was heartbreaking to watch And the Vets bills were enormous

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
staff cross bread with pitbull were sometime refured to as long legged staffs a mate of mine had one it was 27" to the shoulder and was a "working dog" was a fucking psycopathic deer hunter lol
there was a kennels in heartfordshire selling long legged staffs but they have been closed for breeding illegal fighting breeds ie pitbulls
its the same with so called irish staffs you have to be very careful wat u buy u might end up like my mate having to get your dog tested to prove its more staffy than pitbull

I'm now on my 3rd Staffy and my second one was an "irish" Staffy and he was very tall compared to my first bitch and my 3rd one (also a bitch), his temprement was a bit dodgy too, very snappy and destructive.
Heres my current bitch, she has champion blood line and Crufts best of breeds in the KC tree, only paid Ł400 too which is cheap for a totally red full pedigree
she loves playing footy in the mud, lol
