donignton today. superb fun!!!!!
just got in the door from a day at donington with some mates. tok the volvo 740 turbo 
cant believe how much everyone loved the car
looks like a piece of shit but due to a very wet track we spent all day driving out the side window
some propper car carnage to day though
track organisers where offering tuition laps in 2 of there cars, a caterum super light and a westfield xtr4 now i thought at the time that it seemed a little silly letting unexperienced drivers out on a very wet track in cars like this 
expecially the xtr4
hence to say they are now both on trailers very very bent! xtr4 lost it right infeont of me, came off the final corner onto the straight, nailed it, lost the ass end then shit himself and hit the breaks span across the track and hit the barrier taking the front of the car off felt quite sorry for the owner, he didnt look best pleased.
oh and a xr2 lost it and hit the kitty litter sideways and rolled
they where ok though.
all in all though a great day mate said he is defo taking the volvo to more track days, hopefully il have time to tag along again. best fun ive had on 4 wheels the car is just sooooooooo easy to powerslide

See now this is what puts me off spending alot of money building a fun trackday car for me to enjoy, when some bell end can smack into the side of you through no fault of your own wrecking your car.

volvo cost £200 and we by far had the best fun there today

at the start of the day everyone was sniggering and pointing saying look at that piece of shit. they all thought we would be the old shitbox holding everyone up.
the volve has 170bhp standard and drifts for england. id say we where in the top 15 cars round circuit. when we where actuallt trying to do quick laps as oppose to drifting wherever possible
£200 for a whole lotta car. lol
