group a head gaskets and bolts
im just after your opinions on head gaskets.will a group a item suffice with the set up im planning on my rs500.4x grey in jector with l8 ecu,not sure what boost pressure it will be running(anyone know?).
also are the head bolts stretch items or are they re-useable.

depends what you wanna spend really, multi layer WRC is probably the best but pricey, but i've heard stories about not sealing when the block face isn't 100 flat, which is no fault of the gasket i presume as i'm sure rally cars always get built with perfectly flat faces.
cometic would be fine i guess

just finding my feet
cometic is just like a wrc jobby
tbh a group A might be a little hit a miss tbh
think mike might be the one to answer this (unless harvey is on holiday )
i would either use a group A with greens or get the block face and the head face checked to see if its totally flat and true

If its what seems like a good condition engine to being with i would probably get the head faced and use a cometic, and assume the block is flat.
But obviously like any assumption you win some and lose some, but due to the block being iron it doesnt warp as easy as the head, so you will mainly get away with it.
Obvously though is a previous owner has let it overheat badly, you are screwed, so it all depends on the history of your engine.
But as its such a ball ache to take it out, i would try it first.
