I have a set of 4.. dont need them, so how much are they worth? is it worth selling or lobbing in the tip ?

hahah They will have wear indicators on them mate, also Marco will also be able to tell you how old they are.

There will be 3 mark indicaters across the width of the tyre in different places, Now they only come with 5mm of tread anyway. See how much is left and go from there
