escos rear bumper decal............
having just had a full respray on my car i need to replace to black decal on the rear bumper that runs level with the exhaust in a groove!
Has any one got a part number handy as the dumb asses at ford cant find it listed!!

If you look at rear bumper at exhaust level, you will notice the bumper is black inside the channel that runs from exhaust hole to the other side of the bumper. Didn't realise it was a decal, thought it was an unpainted part of the bumper.....

i can get satin black vinyl & cut it to shape - ought to trace the shape before the car selld then didnt i !! i think the one from the factory is textured - i know you can get it on the roll from 3m but its 'kin expensive

already thought of painting it 
but i thought satin black instead of matt!!! gives a better effect!!!

due to langage issues, i don't realize the difference between matt black and satin black... is satin glossy ?
to me, matt black is just how the decal looks on origin bumper...
that's why i advised this

satin is halway between matt & gloss - usually used for trim etc as it gives resistance to smudging & finger prints etc - (lost of household paint is satin)

If you knew how the system worked .. You'd realise that the dumb-asses
you are talking about are Dealers, not us Ford people. If dealers want to employ idiots .. and untrained, poorly paid kids .. up to them.
Needless to say .. Dont expect help from me, even tho our drawings show the part. I'll remove it from service.

I dont have the 1 on the rear bumper, but reckon i prefer it without it...
but if anyone has a pic of the wing type, be good to kow what im actually looking for, sorry to sound dum. Gonna have a look anyway, dont pay that much attebtion when cleaning me car. lol

Open the door and you will see hinges and check strap, if you look in the gap between door and a pillar, stuck to the back of the wings is a black sticker... Probably covered in a load of white marks from polish if its anything like mine
