digital speedo senders
right for all the clever people, it seams my s.p.a speed sender has given up, now knowing the prices these people charge for what is usually a common part i thought id ask here 1st,
so it reads off a magnet on the inside of the brake disc, has two wires, and is a small stumpy but quite fat unit ( sounds like a few people i know
) any ideas on a locally available replacement ? or the actual type spa use ?

no numbers or names on it, does have three wires, but one just lookslike a screen
dont really know about a crank sensor - possibly, or even an abs sensor, as then it can pick up in the abs sensor hole ( thats if i can calibrate it to that many points on the reluctor ring

im gonna check that this sensor really is duff, ive had it before and its been the sensor, if so ill pm ya mate and get it off you rather than spa.
the spa sensors being plastic are a bit crap to start with , my brantz one for my trip meter on the other wheel is steel/brass - would be better in steel might last longer as well

i could machine you a sleave up that screw over the plastic sensor then y can have a metal coller with a nut n washer
all you would have to do then is drill the hole bigger
i deal direct with spa and have loads stuff of them
pm me 2nite or before 9 oclock 2moz
if not ring me in the day for your adress and i get it recorded delivery
