I'm selling my old Fiesta RST shell and its got quite a good number plate on it C8 RST which I can't transfer off as the shell has no tax or MOT.
The plate cost £395 new and In my opinion as all the C reg RST versions have sold from DVLA and you can only get E reg RST's (which are £995) I would say the plate was worth ay least £500 so anyway I get this question today:-

Hi, just wondering, in the description you say that the number plate was £345 new and is now worth over £500??? how has it gone up £150 since you bought it? surely the price would be reduced if it's second hand??

Sold my Mk1 XR2 on ebay a few weeks ago. Someone offered me £300 within a couple of hours of the auction starting, the car was near mint!
Then some prat offered me £800 despite the bidding having already reached £1200
