If you want stage 3 power and really quick spool up then ignore all the T series turbos and get a GT28RS or something of that style instead.

Ginge, standard garrett fitment mate, designed as a direct replacement for the range of T25 style turbos like the small turbo escos unit.

Normal garrett 4 bolt flange and everything.

Just chuck GT28RS into ebay and you will find pictures

Bit small for a cossie really though IMHO, but if its only stage 3 power you want they are fine.

GT2871R is capable of 400hp with spool up like a Disco Potato (GT28RS).
A pal just got 403 bhp/382ftlb from one on his small to large turbo EsCos conversion (other mods bd14/greys/7.8-1).

Ginge its a GT28RS but with a 71mm wheel basically mate.

same sort of price, spools nearly as quickly, kind of like a T34.48 compared to a T3

Go with a 0.48T34. I personlly dont like any of the GT28 variants as the exhaust housings are just too restrictive and as such have no "punch" compared to a T34. Some of the larger GT28 versions do hold onto their top end power much better than the T34 (As the compressors are larger), but for the all round ruggedness, value for money and punch the 0.48 T34 is still the best!
