Much fun and quality if you can live with the jokes
Everyone that asks I tell then it does everything very well, but nothing the best.
Very easy and comfy to live with every day, just be carefull when its wet
Can be a money pit if you are unlucky. Mine is still covered by BMW, if it wasnt it would have cost me near 3k in the first year alone ... and thats a 98 with 56k.
Never feel as quick as they are as they are very smooth when the power comes in (max is at 7400), very good from 50 up - but that depends on what you are comparing to. 12.2 to 100 and 175 if derestricted, draw your own conclusions on how it goes.
If you believe the stories the 321 is actually nearer to 310
Have a look on bm3w.co.uk for more info, like every car site though, its users can be a bit blinkered.
Cheers,
WD

PassionFord Post Whore!!
Owned an R plate Evo coupe a couple of years ago and recently sold an M3 Evo convertible SMG. Both lovely cars, smooth, quiet yet surprisingly quick without realising! However, STEER CLEAR OF SMG GEARBOXES!!! The convertible SMG box was the biggest load of w@nk going. Was the only reason i sold it!!!
Never had a problem with either mechanical wise, but was always wairy of this Vanos problem which occured. Pm DanVisteon off of here, he works for BMW and knows pretty much everything about them!!!! (on his honeymoon till next week though!)
