absolutely it's the way it drives, but how do we get an accurate-ish figure when every rolling road seems to be different???

obviously having a run is for our own amusement, but surely that can't be right??

i'll probably be taking mine here
http://www.chiptuninguk.com/chiptuning/frames.asp

and if these figures are anything to go buy i'll be lucky to get 300

i reckon even Karl would be surprised at that

I DEMAND A RET-TEST

AVA really qoute 320 for a car live mapped on grey's and spiking at 29psi?

i'm sure i've seen a car on here set up by AVA qouting 353 on greens , normal stg3 setup.

all this doesn't matter in the slightest cos the car sounds like a beast

yes, but you don't know the rest of the spec........personally 320 sounds good to me (a real 320 that is) the amount of people i have listened to that have an alledged 330 bhp on greens and then get all upset when there car makes 280-290 on the rollers ! so i would be happy with that spec making that

At the end of the day it is how it drives on the road which counts
that's the spec. I'm not trying to be argumentative at all, just seems nowadays with so many cosworths being setup you tend to hear what figures will be , from the tuners themselves, i.e. standard engine cossie with t3 and 4x4 cooler usually around 320bhp

with t34 rs500 sized cooler 340+ bhp dependant on boost of course

be nice to have some tuner input to tell me i'm wrong and a spaz

P.s 320bhp isn't a bad figure at all, and the times Tiff did in it were more than respectable for that power!

Now guys....from the horses ass....sorry I mean mouth.

It's my car,and yes 'm a little disappointed with the figures

But as the TIFFMEISTER says, it's how it drives on the road, and it's a beast.
I had a nice dual carraigeway/motorway drive to the RRs and a nice one home ............ It was moving...

It got the top award for the most over standard BHP.

For a 20 yr old car It's the biz, and fast enough for an old fart like me.who probably couldn't handle 350BHP sideways

Im surprised at the actual power figure but the Stg1 times speak for them selves so I would say its a genuinely quick car regardless of the BHP power figures, which kind of shits on big horse power claims depending on how this R.road compares to others around the country.

think thats more the part in question,,,,,,,, and also the reason why ill never run my car on a rollers, then i can claim its 500bhp

Guys,
I told the RR operator to keep the revs to 6000,as it was my first RR and I didn't want anything to go pop.(No offence Mark & Karl).

The powerline on the graph was rising all the time and lookin at it,if we continued to 7000rpm it woulda been htting 340/350.

The main thing is..........it's my car, and I'm happy with it. Had it a few months, been to 2 shows, one for show and one for go and it's won prizes at each.

If I take it to another RR,we will go further,so we shall see then.

And it's goodnight from me.

Probably do with a good blow out, seeing as though an old fart like me is drivin it.
