Very good at that money mate
Would never buy an auto tho. Don't see how driving can be enjoyable when you're not in full control..... That's why these Jap twin turbo sports mobiles piss me right off when they nearly all come in auto!

what engine?
if it's a V6 and needs stuff doing to it, be prepaered for BIG bills
and theoil/water cooler/heat exchanger thig tends to be a problem on most of them and gives you blown head gasket symptons if it leaks
other than that, cruising machine yes, anything else, hmmmmm not to sure

Shit loads of car for the money regardless of miles As long as it's not a v6 then it's just a time bomb waiting to explode your wallet
The 2.5 diesels are awesome too with the old bullet proof BMW engine
Took an old S reg 2.0 estate had come in part exchange to the rally last year and Jooster tried to destroy it but it never missed a beat

Nope, i wouldn't buy the 2.5 or 3.0 V6 models, like was said, far too much trouble.
This is the bogo standard 2 litre 16V C20XEV Ecotec. Nice and easy to repair, and i got a spare one knocking about as a donor
Its not intended to be a thrash about, its a comfortable cruiser for france and long journeys, sports mode is pretty nippy though, so still some fun to be had

Cheers Mike Been a member for ages on there
I can't say i heard bad things about the ecotec V6, but i do know they are a nightmare to work on if something goes wrong, and if the belt snaps, its often a write off for the engine

hmmmm funny how most of you approve the VAUXHALL omega, and when i bought the FORD mondeo, no one had anything to say
Picking it up TODAY! yaaaaaay Can't wait to churn all the way home in sports mode with my arse being toasted by the seat warmers, the air con freezing my face off, and the sat nav pointing me in the right direction

It munches milage like no tomorrow, so smooth and quiet, solid feeling, even got a hint of a power slide out of it today on some mud with TC off
Very please with it, not too happy about the 20MPG i am averaging, and definately not happy about the 34mpg mum is averaging. lol
But yeah, everyone thinks its ratehr smart, and good for the money too
