Default Coil over lowering...

....no i wont mention the make or how much they cost new .....a question...i need to lower the back by 3cm so do i simply lower it on the coilover 3cm?...I assume so but want to make sure All new to me this but i will soon be a pro with a little help from PF ROFL

...this will make you laugh..on the front to lower it i moved the adjusters UP thinking that by compressing the spring it would lower it NOPE you have to go down to lower completely foxed me

lol i asked this a while back thinking that you compress the spring to make it lower

you dont, you simply move the platform the spring sits on.

and yes, to lower it 3cm will require you move the spring platform down 3cm

ps wen you alter the ride hieght, you have to check/adj trackin etc etc.

...all lowered back how it was BEFORE i put the Ohlins on which cost 10k new oops

Some people and spanners shouldn't mix Of course you could have lowered it by fitting smaller springs if the dampers still sat at the top.

Nuts...i dont care now as i found they are each 5 way adjustable I have enuff problems on Spax ROFL

..i have lower or higher ride height so thats 2

..i have low speed and high speed compression damping so thats 2

..i have rebound

So thats 5....

BUT on the front it adjusts on the top the bottom and 2 on the cannister plus ride height up and down...way to many mate

theyre commonly known as 3 way , ride height doesn't count ! I have a great pdf of how to set up 3way Penskes if you want it ??

just incase you dont know etc. make sure the spring is compressed. its not allowed to have any play (ie the spring platform so low you can move the spring up n down, needs to touch both ends) or itll fail n MOT (with a competent mot tester)

Hi mate...i have helper springs back and front and these are compressed so i will assume i aint gone to low
