Managed to put 81 squids worth in the new car 2 days ago. Already had quarter of a tank before I started.

Still don't know how there can be big differences in different areas, I filled up today and still only 95.9p a litre **Laughs as I say ONLY**, still far too high even though not as high as places over the Ł1, something needs to be done.

Someone has to pay for the NHS, public services, etc... The price of petrol hasn't gone up over the past five years parallel to oil prices and the rise in inflation. Governmental budgets are expenditure regulated, so that they don't end up with non-transferable monies between departments (so I am told by a civil servant in that area).
The bottom line is that the rise is here now, and they will use the lame excuse that because we pay that much now, that the income will have to be found elsewhere if there's a tax cut.
Obviously the budget is immune to regulated spending

Food for thought
When i started driving the price of Fuel was 22p a gallon today its around 420p thats 19 times Higher. At the time i was earning Ł400 a year x 19 = Ł7600. Can i suggest Petrol is very cheap even at todays prices.

The Gov could give a little bit of leeway on taxes, as the UK is actual an oil producing nation And if the price of a barrel of oil goes up the UK actually makes more money.
