Its a full cro-moly 25.1c chassis that is spec'd to run as fast as 6.30sec 1/4mile. the car was build at my place of work in 1997/98 and has ran 7.4 using a BDT-E engine, the rolling car was sold in 1999 to current owner and replaced by :

this car was also build by us and is the same chassis spec as the Probe.

As dannyB said on the chassis

The gearbox is an air shifted 5 speed liberty, basically a manual box with

a twin plate clutch,macleod I think.

You only need the clutch off the line ,and then never lift again till

the end of the run!

It has a "trick titanium " can(bell housing) and runs a 9" ford axle with a

spool(no differential or slipper) on 15"x15" slicks

Used to be painted up in the blue/white and red scheme iirc, uses a huge great ice box at the front of the car which houses an intercooler

The car is space framed too

Fair play on the time

there was a calibra with a 1400bhp chevy in and 200bhp of nos. what makes it the worlds fastest street car doing a 8.14@174 1/4 mile and a 0-60 in 1.25. 706ci (11.5 ltr) Alluminium Big Block Engine. the most impressive thing though its street leagal with street tyres, mot and tax.
