..called Cosmic Banditos? (don't let the title put you off )

I rarely read any books at all, but the new guy i work with lent me this after i told him i'd studied physics and maths
It's the strangest, craziest, funniest thing i have ever read

The character discovers a passion for physics after his Bandito mate mugs an american family and brings their possessions back to said exiled character - how he came to be exiled is explained and is very colourful (drug/alcohol fuelled destruction in south american ports with 2 texans amongst other things). The character also has an unhealthy obsession with the daughter of the mugged family, who seems to have a couple of guys on the go - he wants to write to them to tell them what she's up to

Think the best bit has to be when the guy asks his Bandito friend, along with his gang, to steal some hard to find books from the University of Barranquilla Research Library - they come back a few days later with tonnes of books.. and the head librarian, who was knocked out during a little fight with some columbian troops On returning, they then proceed to make a wall with the books and standing with the librarian, they want their picture taken with the camera from the mugged american family - when the guy attempts to explain there is no film in it - they tell him to take the picture anyway
Sounds like a night out with some of this lot off here!!

Anyway, if anyone gets chance to read it i highly recommend it

PON, you know i'm madasaboxoffrogs but even i don't have the imagination to write up this madness that is this book - it is brilliant Think the guy must have been on some serious drugs
