And rear N/S caliper handbrake not working

Overall, very pleased. Hopefully should be able to fix them on Sunday and re-test either Monday or Tuesday

Free Re-test only counts if the car hasnt been driven since the 1st test. As hes taken it home to do the repairs in the meantime. Its up to the testing place if they do a freebie.

If hed let the testing place do thr repairs the rule says they have to do a freebie if its within 7 days (AFAIK)

I got a free re-test on my old escort after it failed its MOT, and I drove it about 40 miles between the tests AND my dad did the work required on it at his own garage!

But one thing that does ring a bell is that it had to be within 7 days of the original test

7 days for a free re-test

Will be checking hand brake issue tonight, hoping its just a problem with the cable

Had another problem arise, bottom water pipe from water pump to rad is getting eaten by the alternator Time for some DIY action

There was a couple of "Advise" things..... 1 was about a CV boot had been "repaired" and the other was about the chassis legs have been replaired, which i knew when i bought the bloody thing

James, the belt is new. Its cause my rad isn't fixed down or mounted properly. Having problems with rad, fans and IC. Fans keep hitting IC, rad too far back and hose catching alternator and IC too far forward and bonnet hitting IC.... never ending with RS's
