Any bikers on here?
Of the pedal variety?
Thinking of buying one as ive just got a new job thats only 1 mile from my house, so thought i would cycle to work instead of drive.
How long that will last i dont know
Not sure what to get, has to be of the mountain bike variety.
Full suspension, front suspension, or no suspension.
Bearing in mind im 6'7 and weigh the wrong side of 20st
Just been looking on ebay and theres some nice ones on there, dont want to pay any more than £100 really.
Not bothered about 2nd hand.
Here some ive been looking at.

I would personally stick with a rigid bike. You get a better level of equipment for the cash as the bike hasn't been budgeted to cover the costs of suspension. Specialised do some good reasonabley priced bikes.

id go for 1 with just front suspension mate for bumpin up kerbs ect haveing a shock on the back is a pain in the arse for road rideing as it absorbs alot of ya power sayin that you can always lock the back shock if you want, time to breath out of your arse mate

the ones with mid suspension are shit imo, feels like your riding a clowns bike or sumat, especailly when you get out of the saddle... they bend in the middle!

all you need mate is a rigid bike, maybe front suspension, the thing with a full
suspension bike is that a lot of your energy goes into the rear shock moving, i had
a £1200 kona full suspension bike and i replace it with a dual slalom Orange
Ms isle with only front suspension, lot better to use IMO
if its all easy riding, get a roady racer bike
