i need some info on them and the different versions, i have read the official site but am no wiser

what info you need mate.....

basically there are two types,Ignition only or ignition and fuel injection,and its just a plug in box that goes into the crank pickup and the injector feeds and allows you to map the ignition or the fuelling a bit better..

Bit like a piggyback ecu on the jap stuff..

which one would be better for a road bike , the fuel+ign or just fuel??

the latest one is USB but what are the older ones and how do they plug into a computer?

Early ones were serial,would deffo go for fuel and ignition on a road bike,makes a big difference to rideability and a little bit quicker too...

i have only ever used usb leads how would you use a serial lead on these??

any dis-advantages on using serials?

my mates got the fuel/ignition one on his R1, said it makes a hell of a difference

serial is almost as easy as usb,just gotta select the com port in the program setup,plug it into your 9 pin serial on laptop and bobs your uncle...
