Default Itsmeagain's Skyline

If any of you have been in the "Restorations, Rebuilds & Projects" part of the forum, then no doubt you'll have noticed Itsmeagain's skyline.

https://passionford.com/forum/viewto...er=asc&start=0

Hes doing some amazing work to it, so i though i'd let him see what it should look like in the near future.

Only things i missed out was his insane 6.5" FMIC
And his wheels are wider with a deeper dish

Update 1...
(Body Coloured Bonnet, Spoiler & Deep Dish)

Update 2...
(Now With Larger FMIC & More Realistic Colour)

I'd do yours like that Steve, but considering it doesn't exist, and is just a figment of your imagination, then maybe not

its all gonna be body colour, all parts in that photoshop i either already have fitted or actually own, including the rims (tho mine are 10x18), and its booked in for that colour respray already.

jus need the new engine fitted, big brakes, exhaust made, quaife diffs, and different interior, and few lil bits n bobs, and itl do, sorted....

Yea, the one in the car

Can get a new 6spd sequential for a bargain price (tho thats still 3k), but dont really want one TBH, 3k is still a lot of money to me.

Oh, wanna get the transfer box clutch plates replaced too, most people forget and thatsn why most GTRs feel soo RWD

Fair enough, what sort of power are you hoping for, and what rpm etc?

Or is there a published spec somewhere to stop me asking questions that i dont need to!

Will be somewhere over 800bhp (TBH as will be running maybe 2.5bar boost it could well be over 900bhp, nothing to stop it, and turbo is rated to just under 950) and RB30s generally make peak power around 7500rpm.

Im confident that with loading up the diffs before launching the box will last long enough to not make splashing out on expensive uprated ones worthwhile....

fast road car, or competition car?

If its mainly a road car, then makes sense to just hold off the launch a touch, not like 2 tenths *really* matters when its just for fun

Mainly road, full interior, tho lighter than std (no aircon or hicas).

Tho will be on the strip a lot, but jus for fun, but got a 10 in it even without a big launch.

Then again the guy whos building my engine runs a totally stock transmission on his and launches off a 7500rpm rev limited with 75 shot of gas too running hoosier wrinkle wall drag slicks, and dont break his std box that often!

I should think he is specifically trying to make it different enough to NOT get mistaken for bayside

Zo- Noooo, Bayside blue is far darker, that is Porsche Riviera Blue, sort of a bright pastel blue

Dumped- I like drivability and reliability, and 900bhp is more than enough for anyone really
Esp as gonna look so mint il jus be cruising around showing off i bet
Concours time

Escorted- Cheers for doing an update pic with blue bonnet and more dished rims, legend mate

What about photoshopping a big intercooler behind there?

Looks damn amazing.

Q about the engine - peak power at 7500. I know its a 3 litr etc. What do the 26's usually rev to? IM sure i heard ronnie's could do 14k or sommat!!!! But when does that come on boost?!

Thats the colour mike!

Its the fucking tits Thanks to Monkeyboy Chandler for that idea

Porkie- Chandler reckoned do the centres in matt black and a polished rim, but seriously dont like these ideas. Ive seen a car in Riviera Blue and white wheels and it looked the tits

BUT I can so see me getting a set of rims like that Porker after a while...

Fuckit, I just want that Porker, PURE car sex

Rick- Mine should peak around 7500, about stay pretty similar all way to 8.5k limit, good power right way though, mad power from about 3500, and full boost mentalness from about 4.5.

Normal big power 2.6/2.7 GTRs and their usual specs usually peak between 7300 and 8600 but most have fuck all power below about 5.5 or 6k.
14k can be done but isnt a good idea, I doubt even Keith Cowie revs over 11k on his drag car, and I bet his peak power is well under 9k.
And most people arnt happy revving over about 7.5 on their road cars so gives a pretty feckin small powerband...

Still reckon you should leave the bonnet black, and as porkie says polished dish and anthracite centre

Wish I had the missis S1 in that colour now lol

Heres a controversial one...

We been talking in the office, and kinda thinking my front bumpers a bit much, too complicated...

Been thinking about the Veilside drag front bumper...

Think it would work better with the rest of the mods and the colour than the current over complicated one does

Prob fit the 2 square intercooler vents I have on my std bumper to it too...
