Only a month in the new job...
and its not bodeing well... fortunately not for anything I have done....
Had an early shift today and noticed one of the girls that I trained up with was missing. I was like, hang on, aint she supposed to be working today?
No one knew where she was untill as I left the office I turned on my mobile and straight away got a text message.
She had been dismissed that morning
Suddenly hangs a shadow over my head, expecially as I didn't get a gleeming reference from the last job
Now sat here all stressed again.... hope I aint going the same way....

Meh
Hardly your fault if shes dismissed by people superior (in position) to yourself. If you think shes worth saving. Let her know that by Law she can appeal the decision. Make sure she takes a solicitor to any appeal. Might cost her, but it could work out the better for her.
Edit : Your bosses shuld have informed you if you are the person she reports too though. And not by Text message either!

If it's within the first 2 years you can't file for unfair dismissal.
Work hard and be looking for another job. Try and ensure you get a good reference from this one and you should be home and dry
Don't get envolved with other colleagues with stuff like this it's bound to blow up in your face.
Was she fit though? At least if you did help her out you may get a shag out of it
