Can you remeber when.....
The touring car championship was worth watching 
Watched it today and its shit to say the least, the winner is the one with the least amount of straight panels left on his car, they only pass after they've T'boned the car in front after flicking them sideways
It used to be ace watching the volvo estates ripping through the field with rikard rydell at the helm

I think the current touring car season is great to watch!!
Ok It's not a very pure form of racing with the ballast and reversed grids etc but its close and frantic!!
Swapping paint has always been part and parcel of BTCC
Much better entertainment than F1 IMO

I like when the Sierra Cosworth's were racing.
I supported Robb Gravett and know him well.
Still do now!!!
It is better now then it was last year (Vaux*all's always winning)

thats the first year i started going up to watch, 1994 IIRC and i can honestly say that no season since has been as entertaining.
is pretty boring nowadays

I thought it was really good a few years ago, 1998/99 seasons, but now it's wank 
F1 has got better last year or two, but it's gotta be GT series if ya want proper track racing Best reason to get up at 7am on a Saturday and watch it before I go work (or sometimes, even if I am off that Sat 
) Proper mental with Listers, Ferrari 360 GT's, Porsche's, TVR Speed 12's and 6's, mental Vipers, Ultima's, etc, etc... Funnnily enough, one of the drivers in that series is Shane Lynch (used to be a 
singer in Boyzone ) and he's actually a pretty damn good driver
WRC still the best motorsport tho
