One of my mates has a Phase 1 lower BHP one, and he's a bit bored of it + may get rid. They look the absolute bollocks but aren't really that fast. My best mate has a mental stripped/bucket seats 202BHP CUP, and he got to drive one of the new V6's round Brands on a Renault Sport track day, he much prefered his CUP, said it was faster and more 'chuckable'. The V6 has some funny tendancy to understeer like fuck then all-of-a-sudden 'snap off oversteer'.

Friend of mine ended up in a very high speed race with a girl in one, he was in a DB9. Said he had try suprisingly hard to significantly beat it.

It's still one of the only cars in recent times to come out that has actually made me stop and stare as it drove past.

do you really mean that Rich, or just 'fantastic looking car'?

i was involved with TWR during the development of this car. the structural changes made to the shell did not enamour me to it, i have to say.

Phase 2 cars are much less likely to spin you backwards into a hedge so if anything get her one of those...

Megane 225 is SHITE!!!!!!!!!! It's alright if you need a family car and you like the quirky Renault styling but don't expect a very responsive engine or proper handling because it has neither...

I suppose I mean fantastic looking car. I would never say that without having driven one, and I haven't.
