Default New stainless is leaking!

Just fiited a new stainless exhaust to my car (mongoose) and the joint from the first section (downpipe) to the middle section has a very small leak, i have tightened the clamp as much as possible, will it sort itself out after a bit of use or will i have to gum it up? Its only a very small one

Never know, if it's near enough to the engine the heat might return it to a proper circle again if it's been deformed
