Default Snap off boss help....

I'm just trying to fit my snap off boss on my MOMO wheel and I've got a feeling I'm missing a part

Has anyone got a pic of the back part of the steering wheel when diconnected? (needs to be horn push in the centre please...)

If the holes on the wheel don't line-up with the snap off thing then you will need to get an adaptor that goes in between the two to allow you to fit the Momo wheel!

Its not that mate I've taken care of that already, its the horn push, there doesn't seem to be anything on the back of the wheel to line up with the 2 brass insert bits, so I'd have to pull the connections off every time I pull the wheel off!

Ok i think i know what you mean?
This is a pic of one i have the part on the left is attached to your wheel and the part on the right is attached to your boss. The 2 brass bits line up with the two silver bits to complete the circuit for the horn.

Your boss should have the 2 metal rings that lign-up with the 2 metal prongs on the column. Then there should be 2 wires with spade connectors inside the boss which attach to the 2 on the reverse side of the snap off part on the right of my pic. The two metal parts on that align with the 2 on the part on the left of my pic and then on the reverse of the snap off part on the left are 2 further spade connectors which attach to your horn push!
Get your head round that lot lol

I've just found out you can un bolt the snap off wheel part into 2 bits again and there looks like a ridge where an extra piece fits (which must be the optional horn push bit...)

If you look on the reverse of the part in the left of your pic there should be 6 allen key heads, if you undo them I'm betting the horn push bit will come out seperate

Will have a look and see if you can get this part on its own

Cheers for your help Spadge

I think the "old style" just means it doesn't have the lock fitted, shouldn't make any difference to your problem I guess???

If you sell it Wes, might be interested at te right price..S1's don't have centre horn: it's on the end of the stick thing.

Hope you sort it either way. Can you not take it back & tell them there's a bit missing ??
