**Dumb blonde alert**
Is it possible for a clutch to slip in an automatic / semi automatic car?
ie: a car that has no clutch pedel.

Its not going to be the torque converter..,..
and its def not
The torque converter is a fluid flywheel... which transmits power from the engine to the gearbox with out a clutch!
The gearbox itself is likly to be flocked!
Alex
and its def not
Torque converter is effectivly an automatic clutch, hydraulically operated IIRC to squeeze the pressure plates together to give drive.
The gearbox itself is likly to be flocked!

So it could possibly be a problem with the gearbox? Which actually isnt that surprising to hear tbh, its a tempremental little sod, bit like its driver

Alex, im tied into a buy-back agreement until August, tbh I dont care if it breaks because they'll just give me a Brabus to play with in the interim, what im worried about is what the problem actually is and if I caused it by driving it like a twat on Saturday night. If it turns out to be my fault I have a feeling Warranty wont pay up
