APT's Stud Kit.
Got mine the other day, what size drill bit should i use to drill out the hubs??

Boing
|
measure the outside dia of the bolt, and minus 1 to 2 mm.
|
The shank measurement of the stud is 13.1mm. I think I used 12.9mm, but might have been 12.7mm. :?
I will go see if I can find the Drill bit. |
If your drilling then tapping the hub, you drill to the the size of the stud on the dia, minus the depth of the thread, i.e.
M20 bolt has a 2.5mm pitch, which has a 1.5mm deep thread, so you use a 17mm drill. If that makes sense. :top: |
Christian and Beccy, Thanks mate, knowing my luck - i'd drill the hole and the stud would fall out
churchy, No tapping needed mate. I was in your neck of the woods last weekend - Caister Soul Weekender at the Vauxhall Holiday Park  |
From memory, I bought 12.7 and 12.9 to be safe. Might be worth doing that and trying the 12.7 first.

I livr right next door the the camp, I throw all my rubbish at the caravans the other side of the fence :DD:
Should have taken a walk towards the centurian pub and turned off down a little path on the same side of the road, head towards the beach and you'd have found me :content: |
Probably a good thing that he didn't.
