A mate has an engine with the following spec :
1.8 zetec block. 90 spec c.v.h turbo head. piper cam shaft part number BP285T2. inlet manifold converted to take cosworth fuel rail and 4x4 throttle body. cosworth dizzie and T.D.C sensor. 3 bar map sensor. standard yellow injectors (for running in) turbo not sure maybe standard r.s.

Whats the best wiring loom for engine only + sutable e.c.u. and any other advise on best turbo to run. other parts needed include swirl pot, intercooler etc

L6 & Loom Will be fine for what ya need.

As above my RS is running this Cosworth management on CVH,
The zvh will suite, and the L6, with cosworth loom, with the correct sensor's used, with remapped chip and 2 bar map sensor for std yellows.

Is there any tuning software available for the Weber-Marelli ecus?

Not as such the webbers use an EPROM.
Only way to tune is erase using uv and re program the chip, or swap the chip.
