How do they compare to other makes?

Anyone got them? Any good?

they are autometer gauges, so all round pretty good, i had em in me gti for a while, now ive swapped to the phantom range by autometer, which is pretty much the same bar the badge

only had the boost gauge. pretty good but the needle never went round very far!!

I know the Ford ones are mechanical, is this a downside over the electrical ones?
