Really really enjoyed this series. I did feel that the end was a bit staged with the carry on comment shouted from an audience member

Was a good episode, always like some good ford action. Would have been good to get a bit more of the sapphire before that went off screen and maybe some escorts. I think there will be more interest in challenges than the rest I am just glad they got rid of stars in the car as that was always a skip forward moment.

I've just watched this too. Ford have made some cracking cars in the past. I heard rumours that Ford were gonna kill off the mondeo. The price of a new mondeo is close to the price of say a BMW or a Merc.
I wonder if Ford are still struggling with there debt.
I've always said for years that cars like BMWs Audis Mercs Jags Land rovers are getting more common on the road these days. You can pick Jag XFs up for about 8k. The same price as you can get a mondeo for.

Just watched it. What a great show. Dont really know what else to say. Genuinely sad its come to an end in it's current form, but I guess all good things must come to at end at some point. Will look forward to the future though but will really miss the way its been for all these years.
The actual episode itself was great. A really good tribute to some epic cars that Ford have made over the years, the RS500 being my favourite. I remember watching it race on the tv as a child and whenever I saw one in real life it was like 'wow a Cosworth' and to be fair on the rare occasion I see one now its still 'wow a Cosworth'!
Was never lucky enough to own or even drive any of the Cosworths and probably never will which is a bit a a shame but the Cosworth will always be one of my childhood heroes!

That's a really kind offer, and if I did live closer I'd definitely take you up on the offer.
It's a bit of a catch 22 really cos when I was younger I couldn't afford the insurance on any of the RS models and now I'm 40 I probably could, but now all those cars of my younger days are simply out of reach to buy. The nearest I got was having a go in a mates S2 RS Turbo and I've recently had a go in the latest Focus RS, but that was only a little go and I drove it like miss daisy as it was my parents neighbours car and he doesn't let anyone drive it, so I felt quite privileged and didn't want to take the piss.
I've owned a few Fords over the years, but the only fast one I've owned is a Mk2 Focus ST which I bloody loved.

I never get bored of driving mine Glenn even after 25 years!!! It still put's a big smile on my face especially when it's humbling a much more modern performance car!!
