Mk1 fiesta st170 conversion
Hello all
need some help on finding the right parts and info on fitting the st170 engine into my mk1 fiesta I have the engine and a ib5 gear box
what breaks can be put on this car
suspension
how much do I need to cut out the chassis to get the umps to fit
engine management system
any info would be great

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
My son has done this to a mk2 fiesta he used Mk1 mondeo servo and master cylinder with wilwood calipers and Sierra xr4x4 discs. His run s on bike carbs with Nodiz ecu making the spark.
Ithink you need a water pump impeller that goes the other way.
Not sure about cutting the chassis leg as the mk2 is different

I have a zetec turbo in mine . I used xr2 alternator mount, modified cvh engine mounting and e escort water pump . I've got a spare brake setup up if your interested mk2 hubs with low mileage bearings Mondeo v6 callipers and rs 2000 discs . I'm not to far away from you to . Yes mate I’m interested in them pal I just need patterns so I can buy some new disc really will the bolts onto the front and what did you do about the rear breaks ?

The discs have no wear just light rust , both discs and pads have only done a few hundred miles tops . I didn't do anything with the rears I'm always causious of over braking on the rear

I think there was something funny with clutches but it was maybe because he has a billet flywheel. I’ll ask him tonight.

I was wrong ....
You need RS Turbo friction plate and cover and ib5 release bearing.
