Default Biggest brakes behind Esc Cosworth wheels?

Hey all, just wondering what the biggest brakes you have seen fitted behind Esc Cosworth wheels?

I have just sourced some Fiat Coupe Brembo 4 pots but dont know if I should use the ST170 300mm discs or the 324mm from the FRS...

Any one tried to get 324mm's behind Cossie wheels?

Thanks all

Reyland does a 308 mm kit with the original calipers for the Escos, so I gues that is as big as you can go with the standard calipers. With other calipers it's probably not very different, so I doubt the FRS discs will fit. The ST170 discs are 24 mm thick and the FRS 28 mm, which is also something to keep in mind. I guess the Brembos will be intended for 28 mm thick discs.

Ok perfect, might just buy a set of Fiat discs as they are 305mm and 28mm thick and 4 stud which I can redrill to 4x108....just need to make sure the offsets are right

I would have thought Cossie discs at standard size with good pads and those calipers would have been fine.

Probably...but if you have seen any of my projects I like big brakes behind open spoke wheels lol

The calipers are purchased, just need to find a disc solution, when they turn up, ill try them against the ST170 disc and take it from there....was wondering if you could potentially get a 324mm disc behind the Esc Cossie 16 wheel...currently I have 300mm ST170 setup behind 15inch S1 RST wheels

Are them brakes you have now tight Behind the 15s. I had st170 discs and mk3 mondeo calipers on my old puma and they were behind standard puma 15s. I had to shave the calipers a bit for them to fit.

They do look amazing on Cossie wheels! This will actually be a spare set of wheels for the Mk4 van and the Orion...I like the thought of being able to chop and change as I feel lol

This looks amazing IMO

Now that does look very nice! Can't beat an escort van especially on them wheels.
