Default any auto electricians on here

Just need some advice pls

I have a 91 Fiesta RST and i've lost the ignition lights on the dash. The car turns over but no lights, I've had a good look in the fuses and relays but nothing obvious. Also when the ignition is in what would be the on position there's no spark from the battery when you disconnect and reconnect the terminals which you would expect there to be, So it seems to be dead....

Is there anyway of getting power to the ignition ?

Thanks

Have you tried an ignition switch just so you could eliminate that.

Power probes are great, as long as you know how to use it! Have you tested the ignition relay?

I am sure it doesn't have one.

As to the problem, firstly what security system (hopefully something) do you have installed?

With a meter (or if you don't have one, a test light) check if power is present at the ignition switch and if so, move forward from there.
