use a 9v battery to test them it takes seconds, you will hear the speaker click, look at which way the spaker moves to get the polarity the right way round

I don't know if this is any help for the speaker wires. I know it's for putting a iso conector in a focus.

Thanks Radman, will check this weekend to see if theres one there. Is it mounted up high under dash?

Cheers Gleen, colours are different to that ,in the car harness there like yellow black, yellow green or something. Thin wires as well. But will use the Standard ISO ones to run new wires if needed.

Thanks all for the help.

All my wires had been chopped too. I cut the plugs of a scrapper tranny connect van radio harness and soldered them into my cossie.
