I always wanted an alfa 155, I liked the angled looks but never got around to buying one.

Great cars. I drove one around Bedford Autodrome and had great fun sliding it around. I notice a lot are getting turboed or supercharged, there is one just up the road from me.

Not got many pics but ill put some up, only running 8psi boost because still running standard internals. Made 380 at the wheels at 7000rpm. Tuner has put a limiter on at 7K cause hes worried about rod bearings, ive told him to take it off and take it 8K rpm so should make 400 to the wheels. Still got a few issues to sort then hopefully back on the dyno for some more power

I love the tubular exhaust!! It looks really well made as does the rest of the system. I prefer the style of the older M3s they look much better than the new shape ones.

I’ve not owned that many cars but the fact I’ve had my Escort for so long it has to be the favourite. I’m under no illusion as to where it ranks in the best hot hatch list but love the all or nothing power delivery and the noise. It’s not even the quick now compared to modern stuff, I think my old 520d would have embarrassed it.

surely that m3 manifold is over complicated just for the look of it ? seems a bit excessive on the bends !

I don't agree, the company that makes it for the M3 would have done their research to make sure it gives maximum power. Very well made and probably cost a lot of money.I bought a tuned length tubular exhaust for my Sons Subaru Impreza and that has loads of bends in it as well. Even the Cosworth YB tubular exhausts are similar. It's all about getting rid of the exhaust in the most efficient way.

its a work of art for sure ! obviously im no expert but I thought the main thing was as straight and short and as equal in length as possible ! wouldn't bends restrict flow?

There is a turboed one within 2 miles of my house (used regularly on track) I know of another in Sunbury and he did his as his mate had one. I have seen quite a few at shows too.

be careful with the raised rev limit. The e46 did not have a 155 mph limiter in 5th and many people took them up much higher in5th and the engines let go. The z3m was the same. I did 165mph in my Z3m but a BM tech said it was risky for prolonged periods.

Well pleased with the manifold, took a while to make as the S54 engine is slightly tilted which makes it really tight for space! happy they've managed to make it equal length and manged to retain the air con.

The exhaust manifold is my fav part of this build, the quality of the workmanship is absolutely stunning. what CGR have managed to do considering the space is pretty fecking awesome! Does look complicated tho
