Another waxoyl question.....
Is this stuff ok to just paint on underneath and inside the wheel arches? It's only for a bit of protection on my old fiesta and possibly my Mondeo, one car is red and the other is blue.
so is the clear stuff any good or am i better off using for black? I'm not expecting a show car finish but i don't want it to look shit either.
cheers

PassionFord Post Whore!!
It does discolour,I cleaned some over-spray off a couple of places in my Saffs engine bay earlier this year which has been there for about 25 years!! It has done the job on mine keeping the rust at bay for the 23 years I have owned it. 23 MOT passes so far!!!

I bet that was easier to put on, just messy if you ever had to work underneath it again.
I better hold off giving the rear arch a coat, as per my other thread. if i end up getting it done, whoever does the work will be pissed if I've just coated the inside arch with fresh waxoyl 😂

does this look right? Ive sprayed it on but its so watery its made a right fucking mess. It's hardly clear either. am i doing something wrong? Ive certainly got it everywhere, but it looks like a 5 year olds done it.

That's good then, i was worried it wasn't right and i had wasted my time. i think I'll do the underneath with some underseal instead though as it will last longer. This stuff seems ideal for all the hard to reach places as it gets in everywhere.

I tried a brush but it was just running off and not really taking to the car. So i used a pump spray bottle which worked well but it went everywhere, i was fucking covered in it.

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
That looks O.k mate, no point messing about and full coverage is important. I'm about to rust proof my new car which is three years old. I'm using Bilt Hamber products and I am literally going to tarmac the fucker, the way I look at it is that you can bet that any area I don't effectively cover will end up corroding in years to come so I intend to use "P" for plenty.
