Default Hughies Supercar Sunday - a different car show

This weekend I did a car show which was totally different for me.
I heard a while ago about a supercar meet that was taking place localish to me, and thought would like to goto that.
I put my name on the list and was added to the show, then I looked at the other cars and thought perhaps I'm in the wrong place really as there were Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Mclaren's, Skyline's etc.
On the day we all had to meet out side of the town to be given details of what to do.
Basically all convoy down to the venue, making as much noise as possible, well that didn't need saying twice, also there are motorbike outriders that will be stopping the traffic for us to keep the convoy of 100 cars all together.
So off we went, sure enough all the traffic was being stopped (just for all of us, wow) all the streets were lined with spectators for the whole route taking photos and videos, waving at us all (even me in my humble Cosworth amongst all these supercars).
At the venue we were all neatly parked up and for the next 4 hours it was jam packed with people coming to look at the cars, mine too!!
Although I was surrounded by all these supercars (and a tasty MK1 Escort Cossied) all the other owners were really friendly and were coming over to chat.
What a great day

Picture below how busy it was.

The purpose to this was a young lad Hughie passed away 2 years ago (he loved supercars) and his Dad (Richard) wanted to raise money to buy a Camper Van to be able to visit car shows, fetes etc to raise money for the local hospice who looked after his son, it would be a fun van for kids to play and enjoy. He has also raised many more thousands of pounds and will continue to do so.
I met him this weekend for the first time ever, he had everyone emotional with his story and what he is doing.

The experience was amazing and I have been buzzing ever since we all attended.
Hopefully the link below will work so you can see all photos that were taken by others.
Im not writing this to raise money etc, just wanted to tell of a different car show/meet I went to and will certainly be doing next year.
The whole show was to raise money from spectators to come and see and even sit in the cars.
