Essex based RS dealer help please!
I know this sort of question has been asked billions of times before, but here we go again!
I need some new plates for my 1992 saff and was looking at getting dealer plates. I’m 100% certain it was first registered in Chelmsford, so no doubt there, the only thing is which dealer? I’ve got the service book somewhere, but can’t find it to look there, but was wondering if it was Rates, (which, for some reason was my first thought) or Trimoco...
Does anyone if Rates were an RS dealer, or just Trimoco?
Thanks!

Sorry to deviate on the thread but who other than dmb do dealer plates,
My 92 saph gls was from trimoco and I had the pleasure of meeting the original salesman who sold it to his son brand new in 1992 and then when it came to trade when it was 3 years old bought it from his son and drove it until we had it from him, we sat having a brew with him and he told us all about the good old days and the cosworth demonstrator that he used to bring home
because im going off tangent have a picture to make up for it
